Mission:
Nanoparticle Bicohem was established through unique and original discoveries on the design and development of various types of metallic nanoparticles and bioconjugates by its co founders. Its mission is to apply the principles of nanoscience and nanotechnology to derive imaging and therapy products to ultimately help the patients community, directly or indirectly, in alleviating pain and suffering. NBI's niche in antibacterial and antifungal technologies has allowed the development of sophisticated antifungal agents for applications in the field of human hygiene and agriculture.
Profile and Core Competence:
NBI is a privately held research and development company with an array of nanoparticle-based products that encompass biocompatible nanoparticles, nanoparticulate antimicrobial agents, and specialty biochemicals. Its corporate objectives are to develop new and innovative nanoparticle-based technologies and products for medical, health, hygiene and allied industries, and researchers. NBI is actively pursuing marketing of its products either directly or through licensing agreements with corporate partnerships.
NBI’s core competencies include its ability to perform cutting edge original research and develop innovative pathways for the synthesis of a wide spectrum of gold, silver, palladium, iron oxide, and platinum nanoparticles, nanoconstructs and nanobioconjugates. Our proprietary technologies have allowed the development of gold, silver, palladium and platinum nanoparticles functionalized with an array of chemical and biochemical matrices. Gum Arabic coated gold and silver nanoparticles allow systematic variations in metal content, thus providing unprecedented means of developing mono- and multi-nanolayers with assorted metal content for a variety of materials and biomedical research applications.
